Both appellants argue that the state failed to present substantial evidence to support a finding that the assault was aggravated. We agree. Appellants were charged with aggravated assault by causing serious physical injury to another in violation of A.R.S. § 13-1204(A)(1). None of the other definitions of aggravated assault in A.R.S. § 13-1204 apply to this case. "Physical injury" and "serious physical injury" are defined in A.R.S. § 13-105.
